Each HCode organisation is a service in your HostAfrica client panel. You buy, pay for and cancel the plan there. The dashboard shows what the plan includes and how much of it you use, and it is where you start an upgrade.
Open the subscription page
Click Subscription in the sidebar, or go to /settings/billing.
Owners and admins see the plan, its usage and the upgrade options. Members and viewers see the plan's name and "Only an owner or admin of this organization can change its plan or billing, so ask one of them." Roles and permissions lists who can do what.
What a plan includes
Plan names, prices and the exact numbers are on the subscription page and in the HostAfrica client panel. A plan sets these allocations:

| Projects | Projects in the organisation. Deleted projects don't count. |
| Databases | Databases across all projects, when the plan sets a number. |
| CPU per app or database | A ceiling for each app or database, shown as "Up to" a number of vCPU. It runs on shared hardware and is never reserved. |
| Memory | Memory reserved by your running apps and databases, added up. |
| Storage | Measured persistent data: database volumes and backups. |
| Bandwidth | Traffic in and out of your sites per UTC calendar month. Speed is never limited. |
| Team members | People in the organisation plus pending invites. |
| Build minutes | Time spent building, per UTC calendar month. |

Upgrade your plan
An upgrade starts in the dashboard and finishes in the HostAfrica client panel, where you review the price and pay.
- Open the Subscription page. Owners and admins can also click Upgrade plan at the bottom of the sidebar, which is there whenever a bigger plan than yours exists.
- Under Upgrade plan, pick Monthly or Annually.
- Click Upgrade to and the plan's name. The HostAfrica client panel opens on that upgrade.
- Review and complete the upgrade there.
Only plans above your current one are listed. A disabled button whose tooltip says "This plan is not mapped to a HostAfrica product" can't be bought from the dashboard yet; contact [email protected].
Payments, invoices and cancellation
The subscription page says "Plan changes, payment details and cancellation are managed in your HostAfrica client panel." Click Manage subscription to open this service in the HostAfrica client panel, where you handle invoices, payment details, moving to a smaller plan and cancelling.
Moving to a smaller plan
HCode refuses a plan change while the organisation uses more than the new plan allows. It compares projects, memory, CPU, storage and team members, with pending invites counted as members. Delete what you no longer need, remove members or revoke invites, then try the change again in the HostAfrica client panel.
When usage figures are missing
If HCode can't read a usage figure, the card says so instead of showing a number, for example "We couldn't load your storage usage right now." Reload the page after a minute.
